“New Balloons Delight Spectators at Macy’s Parade”

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade commenced in New York City on Thursday with the introduction of new balloons featuring Buzz Lightyear and Pac-Man soaring through the skies, alongside classic floats like Tom Turkey parading down the streets. The event, which began on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and concluded at Macy’s Herald Square flagship store on 34th Street, showcased a total of 34 balloons, 28 floats, 11 marching bands, and various performers.

Spectators marveled at the spectacle as they watched from balconies, witnessing iconic balloons like Stuart the Minion and Mario by Nintendo floating by. The parade also featured music artist Shaggy on the Jennie-O float, among 29 performers participating this year.

Crowds inside buildings caught glimpses of the new Pac-Man and Derpy Tiger from KPop Demon Hunters balloons as they paraded through the Manhattan streets. The parade was further enhanced by the presence of space ranger Buzz Lightyear and Spider-Man by Marvel balloons, captivating onlookers along the route.

The festive atmosphere was accentuated by performers in vibrant costumes and the Labubu float from Pop Mart making its way down Sixth Avenue. Finally, Macy’s Santa Claus spread holiday cheer as he rode on Santa’s Sleigh, adding to the magical experience of the parade.
