The B.C. Lions secured a thrilling 33-30 victory over the Calgary Stampeders in the West Division semifinal as Sean Whyte nailed a 43-yard game-winning field goal in Vancouver. Quarterback Nathan Rourke impressed with 223 passing yards, completing 16 of 23 attempts and adding a rushing touchdown. Jeremiah Masoli and Robert Carter Jr. contributed crucial scores for the Lions, while Whyte’s four field goals, including the decisive one, sealed the win.

Calgary’s Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 334 yards against his former team, connecting on 23 of 33 attempts with touchdown passes to Clark Barnes and Jalen Philpott. Quincy Vaughn and Rene Paredes also made notable contributions for the Stampeders. The Lions will now advance to face the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the West Division final on November 8 in Regina.

In another exciting matchup, the Montreal Alouettes overcame the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with a 42-33 victory in the East Division semifinal. This sets up a showdown in the East final against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, also scheduled for November 8. The winners of the division finals will clash at the Grey Cup in Winnipeg on November 16.
