“Hollywood Director Rob Reiner’s Son Arrested for Parents’ Murder”

The Los Angeles Police Department announced on Monday that Nick Reiner, the son of renowned Hollywood actor and director Rob Reiner, has been taken into custody and charged with the murder of his parents. The tragic incident unfolded over the weekend when Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife Michele, 70, were discovered lifeless in their Brentwood home.

Nick Reiner, 32, who has grappled with substance abuse issues, was apprehended on Sunday evening and is currently being held without bail. Initially, bail was set at $4 million US, as per jail records.

Authorities confirmed that their investigation concluded the Reiners were victims of homicide, attributing their deaths to their son. Rob Reiner, famous for directing iconic films like “When Harry Met Sally…” and married to Michele since 1989, leaves behind a legacy in the entertainment industry. Michele, a talented photographer recognized for her work on Donald Trump’s book cover “Trump: The Art of the Deal,” was also known for her dedication to social justice causes.
