A batch of Zwilling electric kettles is being recalled by Health Canada due to potential burn hazards. The recall concerns Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models with a 1.5 L capacity. The company indicates that 43,963 of these kettles were distributed in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

The safety concern highlighted by Health Canada is that the handle of the kettle may become loose or detach completely while in use. This defect could lead to hot water spilling from the kettle, posing scalding risks to users and individuals nearby, including children. As of May 13, 2026, the company has been notified of 21 incidents and one potential injury related to these kettles in Canada.
