Flavor Flav Joins US Bobsled Team for Olympics

Flavor Flav, aged 66, experienced the thrill of sliding at a speed of 106 kilometers per hour, sparking his interest in the sport. The iconic figure from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a member of Public Enemy, and a reality TV star, has become a fervent supporter of the United States bobsled and skeleton program. Recently appointed as the official hype man for the team, Flav expressed his excitement about accompanying them to the upcoming Milan-Cortina Olympics in February.

During his time with the bobsled and skeleton teams in Utah, Flav tried both sports. Despite being advised to start from a lower position on the track for safety reasons, Flav insisted on starting higher, demonstrating his enthusiasm and courage. Eventually, on his second run, he reached a speed of 108 km/h, showcasing remarkable talent for a newcomer.

Renowned for his energetic presence, Flav has been actively involved in sports events. From pouring mayo at the Duke’s Mayo Bowl to supporting Olympians and performing during Super Bowl weeks, Flav has left his mark on various sporting occasions.
