Cavalry FC Heads to Third CPL Final

The Cavalry FC from Calgary secures a spot in their third consecutive Canadian Premier League final. They defeated Forge FC, the regular-season champions, with a score of 1-0 in the CPL Contender semifinal held at Hamilton Stadium on Sunday. Tobias Warschewski netted a goal in the 57th minute for the Cavalry. They are now set to go up against Atletico Ottawa in the upcoming North Star Cup final next Sunday. The North Star Cup replaces the North Star Shield, which was previously given to the CPL champions from 2019 to 2022.
